Atlantic Fashion Week kicked off its 10th anniversary on the weekend with fashion shows in the Village Shops at Dartmouth Crossing.

This year’s instalment features six runway showcases, artisan pop-up shops and over 20 designers from Atlantic Canada.

“For a designer to be in one of the other major centres, they pay a very large sum of money to be part of that event,” said Angela Campagnoni, event director. “We have been able to structure this event so far, so that the designers get everything in this whole program at no expense to them.”

Saturday’s event showcased four talented designers.

While all of the models did a great job strutting their stuff on the runway, there would be no show without the designers.
